I stared out the window, watching the rain leave trails. I loved it when it rained. The gloom of grey skies crying on me was a comfort. Sometimes, I'd see a rainbow and that always gave me hope. I knew, one day I'd be able to escape this wretched prison and find who I was.
I didn't know. One day I'd just woken up here, in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't remember anything. Not my name, my age, or my home. I felt trapped and lost. A man told me my name was Lewis. He'd been given a list of tasks I had to complete. If I left before they were done, he'd be killed.
It's been ten years since I woke up. every day I've worked hard but it's never been enough. Tomorrow I'll be free. It's my last thought before my head it's the pillow.
